You know those blog posts where people list all the cute things their child can do? I admit, I usually skim through them quickly. Well, this is one of those posts. Feel free to stop reading now. I won't mind. This is just for the blog book.
Nolan's favorite thing to do is brush his teeth. He loves toothbrushes and toothpaste. He started stealing every one's brushes from the bathrooms and carrying them around the house. I finally gave him a spare for the toy box. "Brush Teeth" is one of the few phrases he can say.
Nolan loves basketball. He is our most naturally athletic child. He gets excited when we sit in the back at church because he likes to stare at the hoop in the Cultural Hall. The other night we took a walk around the neighborhood. Nolan loved pointing out each and every hoop in the neighborhood. He loves all balls. Basketballs, soccer balls, and bouncy balls are his favorite. He has a pretty good throwing arm. It's not uncommon for him to hit someone in the forehead with a ball.
Nolan loves yogurt. He will eat it all day if you let him. If you don't let him, he will hang from the refrigerator handle and scream. He also likes cookies and fruit snacks. If you don't provide them on command he will bang on the pantry door and scream.
Nolan mimics his brothers constantly. This is a good thing when they are teaching him how to clean up, give hugs, sing a song, or play nicely. This is a bad thing when they all start yelling and screaming in the car. They taught him how to beat box. It's pretty dang hilarious.
Nolan is a momma's boy. He does not like to be held by anyone else (except Dan). He does not like to be left with babysitters. He does not like to be held by grandparents. He is a big brat about it. My grandma jokes that someone forgot to cut the cord with him. But he rarely says Mama. He says "Daddy" perfectly though.
He loves socks and hats. He loves balancing things on his head. He loves it when you shove toys up his shirt. He loves to hang upside down. He loves to read books and take baths.
He DOES NOT like his diaper changed. He does not like to eat dinner. He does not like to share his toys.
Some words he can say (and his pronunciation): hat ('at), ball (bah), shoes and socks (shs sks), outside (ow-sigh), bubble (buh-ble), me (eee), please (peas), uh-oh (ah-oh), Daddy, Tyson (Ty-ee), teeth (teet), eyes (Ice), ear (e-ya), bath (Ba), this (dis), that (dat), hi, all done (ah, duh)

He sounds like such an amazing little boy (all your boys are, by the way). I love how each child is so different. It certainly keeps you on your toes.
How sweet! I would say Parker is a momma's boy but he hardly says my name either. I think it is because I say where is dad, dad's coming home etc. Nobody says Mom except for me.
Parker hates diaper changes too. What is up with that. He says a lot! Parker says dad or mom but mostly uh uh or other sounds. Nolan is so cute. That wasn't a boring post for me!
