Family Vacation Part Two: Goblin Valley

After a long day at Arches the boys were a little hiked-out. So our plan was to play in the Valley of the Goblins.
The boys have heard the stories from my childhood of playing tag and hide-and-seek in the Goblins, so I shouldn't have been surprised when, moments after stepping down into the sand, Preston yelled,
"I'll count. You go hide!"
Our game was short lived when Tyson hid a little too well. Dan and I had to split up, yelling his name for five to ten minutes before we finally spotted him.
There were hundreds of people there. I've never seen it so crowded in my life. I was almost trampled by a large group of young adults playing Ultimate Frisbee.

We spent a little more time playing among the Goblins before deciding to leave in search of lunch.
After lunch, we found a great little park in town. We spent the remainder of the day happily playing on the playground, splashing in the water fountain, playing football, riding bikes, etc.
Unfortunately, it was at the park that my camera died. (I think I got sand in it at Arches) Luckily, my video camera takes still pictures, so I got a chance to test it out.
