Nolan loves balls.
Specifically footballs, basketballs and soccer balls.
I recently discovered that you can easily calm Nolan by handing him a ball.
He falls down and hits his head. He's screaming.
No problem!
Hand him a football. The tears stop, and he smiles!
He's mad at me for taking him off the kitchen table. No problem. I'll just hand him a soccer ball. Life is good again. 
I am seriously considering weaning him from his binky (which he only uses for bedtime, church and babysitters) with a football. He is totally Dan's child. (Pictures by Tammy Hicks of Captured Moments Photography)

What a cutie!!! I love that he is so into any sort of ball. I suppose this is a clue that he's going to be into sports. Get ready, mama!
