Nolan's Letters

Nolan loves letters.  He started several months ago by identifying O's everywhere.  Soon he was obsessed with the letter T.  And one by one he has taught himself the letters of the alphabet.  He doesn't know them all yet, but he is well on his way.  He points letters out everywhere we go.  He even sees letters in everyday shapes.  This morning he tried to tell me what letters were on my alarm clock.  7:43 became TUE to his little mind.

He is also learning his colors.  Orange is his favorite color, which is convenient since blue and green are already taken in this house.

I wrote you a huge long gushy comment the other day because I LOVED your post detailing your Facebook Statuses...but...I wasn't logged into my google account so the comment never got published...and then I had to get off the computer...I don't remember why...probably something glamorous like changing a diaper...but anyway...

YOU ARE SO WITTY AND HILARIOUS. I belly laughed at SO many of those and admire your wit and the way you say things with such a poetic tone. I totally want to steal your on spot observations of things like, "Being a mother is like being on house arrest...you can't go anywhere including the bathroom alone, and there's always someone asking what you are doing." I laughed so hard at that...and I love the poetry of things like, "
You know it's going to be a good Valentine's Day when you wake up next to the one you love, and then you roll over to see two more."

It was such a great idea to put all of these on the blog. They are so good and it would have been sad to lose them forever. I might have to finally start a FB account so I can copy this great idea.

...and GREAT JOB on your letters Nolan!!!!!
