A Hole in One

Several weeks ago at lunch time Tyson bit his fork.
He was very distraught about it, with good reason.
When I looked in his mouth his gums were bleeding and his tooth was loose.
I completely forgot about this until last week.
When Tyson reminded me about his loose tooth I was shocked at how loose it actually was.
He was very nervous about it falling out.
We tried bribing him with everything if he would let us pull it out.
No such luck he wouldn't let anyone near it.

Saturday morning he was showing it off to friends, family and neighbors.
While showing my sister just how loose it was he accidentally twisted it.
It wouldn't go back into place and he started freaking out.
Mid scream I reached over and pulled it out of his mouth.
He was oblivious until I showed it to him.
It's all he can talk about now. He will tell anyone who will listen that he lost a tooth.

He woke me up early the next morning to show me the silver dollar the tooth fairy left him.

(The envelope addressed to the "Tuth Fery" with his tooth inside.)

I thought I would be sad about my baby losing his first tooth.
But who can be sad when he has such a cute smile?!

The tooth just to the right of the gap is loose too.

Let's hope this one is a little less dramatic.

He looks so cute with that little missing tooth! I can't believe he is that old to lose a tooth! But I guess in Kindergarten they do have charts that track losing teeth, so I guess I should have figured it out! Anyway Congrats Tyson!
