A Chef in Training

Tyson loves to cook (eat). He is a natural in the kitchen.
It must be genetic because I dislike cooking. His birth mom, however, is a great cook.
She was happy to learn of this connection with Tyson. For Christmas she gave him a gift certificate to attend a children's cooking school. We decided to save it for this summer.
A couple weeks ago he attended a three day cooking (eating) camp.
He loved it.
The camp he chose had a French theme. He made French s'mores, souffle, chocolate crepes, snails*, and lollipops (I'm not sure what lollipops have to do with France, but whatever.)
They also played some crazy games, like this one where he had to knock water bottles over with a baseball in the toe of pantyhose on this head.

Who comes up with this stuff?!

*Not real snails. He tells me it was just a sandwich thing that looked like a snail.

Girl, I am so glad for your footnotes...I was in serious freak out mode at the thought of snails, a la "escargot". Then the thought of a group of small children gathering around to eat them, double yuck. How wonderful that Tyson had a blast, and wouldn't it be wonderful to have a Chef in the family?
