(Notice the 100 piece puzzle on the floor. Given enough time and motivation Preston can do it completely by himself!)
My life would be so dull without my middle child.
He keeps me laughing, crying, cleaning and scratching my head.
Preston loves to play with Lego's. He doesn't often build with them though. Rather, he sucks the air out of them and suctions them to his face. (He also does this with magnets and dominoes)
One day, after taking a shower I found him on my kitchen counters. He managed to avoid all the dangerous things and played with my iPod and video camera instead. He managed to turn the camera on. I have proof of what he did up there.
Another day my shower was interrupted by Tyson who informed me that Preston had spilled a gallon of milk on the floor. When I finally made it to the kitchen to assess the damage, Preston was lapping up the milk like a cat.
(I cleaned up half the puddle before taking this picture. He was mad at me for cleaning it up because he wanted to drink ALL of it.)
Just yesterday Preston was so upset because he was convinced he didn't have eyebrows.
While jumping on Tyson's bed he fell off and smacked his cheek on the bed frame, leaving a nasty bruise. Now when he jumps on the bed he says, "See Mommy, I'm not getting a bwooze on my cheek."
As soon as the bruise healed, he woke up with a large scratch on his cheek. I assume he scratched himself in his sleep since his fingernails were a little too long. People were constantly asking him how he scratched his cheek. I think he got tired of saying, "I don't know," because after a while he started telling people that a bird did it.
In some ways I'm excited to see who he grows up to be. In other ways, I'm terrified.

Sounds like Preston and Apsen could be the best of friends!!! I could relate to a lot of the things you mentioned, LOL.
