We love participating in our city festival every summer. The 5K and mile run were a fundraiser for a 3 year old little girl in our neighborhood who has been fighting leukemia this last year. So in honor of little Jessie, we all ran the mile together. Preston and Nolan (in the stroller) were the first members of our family to cross the finish line. I crossed a second later.
A few hours (and a shower) later we enjoyed the parade that runs through our neighborhood. Dan and Tyson were in the parade again this year promoting Dan real estate business by throwing bags of popcorn and spraying everyone with water. The little boys and I did our best to keep up with the large amounts of candy being thrown at us.
