Flag Day Bike Parade

(Tyson in the middle, wearing red, causing a traffic jam while posing for a picture)

The Flag Day Bike Parade is a neighborhood tradition that we love. Early one Saturday morning in June all the neighborhood children gather to decorate their bikes, scooters, strollers, etc. in red white and blue streamers and balloons. Then, accompanied by a large truck with a sound system playing patriotic music, they ride through the neighborhood as all the grown ups wave and cheer.

This year Dan supervised our big boys while Nolan and I cheered from the driveway.

This was Preston's first year riding his bike in the parade. He loved it.
