How About That Jazz

When I was a little girl my family went camping with my grandparents. One afternoon during this camping trip my Grandpa asked me if I'd ever seen a silver fox. When I said no he handed me a pair of binoculars. When I put them up to my eyes he helped me point them in the right direction. When he stopped I was surprised to be looking right at my Grandma.

Oh how I miss my Grandpa.

My Grandma celebrated her 82nd birthday recently. To help her celebrate we (my siblings and our spouses) took Grandma to a Jazz game. She was so excited! She is a huge Jazz fan and had only attended one game with my Grandpa years ago. She had tears in her eyes when we gave her the tickets. She was so excited! The morning of the game, she woke up at 5am simply because she was too excited to sleep.

She loved the game, and even though the Jazz lost she cheered loudly with every basket. She clapped so hard that her hand was purple the next day. She can't wait to go again!

What a wonderful birthday to give your Grandmother. I'm glad she had fun.
