Easter Fun

Saturday morning the boys and I decided to brave the chilly weather and attend the city Easter egg hunt. When I got there I realized there was no way for both boys to participate, since they were assigned to different age categories and I can only be in one place at one time. Preston didn't seem to mind sitting this year out. Tyson enjoyed the hunt and was able to fill his basket.

I suggested to Tyson that he give some of his eggs to Preston since Preston didn't get any of his own. Tyson didn't like this idea. But he liked the idea of emptying all the candy from the eggs into his basket and putting the empty eggs in Preston's basket. Preston was thrilled. He kept saying, "Egg! Egg! Egg!"
Before we left the park Tyson insisted on seeing the Easter Bunny. He asked me if it was the real Easter Bunny or if it was just a guy in a suit. I told him it was just a guy in a suit. He must not have trusted me because he wanted to see for himself, just in case. After an experience at Walmart with this Easter Bunny, I knew Preston wanted nothing to do with him so we kept our distance.

This is the best picture I could get of the two of them.

Awww, they look so cute! And I'm impressed that Preston went for the "just the egg" bit, lol. Hunter could smell the candy from a mile away! Hunter fell asleep at our Egg hunt. Poor little boys! Maybe next year!
