We drink a lot of milk.
I often get funny looks at the grocery store when I'm filling my cart with milk. I know people are wondering how many kids I have. And why on earth I would need so much milk. A few weeks ago my neighbor caught me in the dairy section of our local store. He accused me of not leaving enough for him.
When I was a kid my parents always bought four gallons of milk at a time. This seemed like a lot for our family of 8.
It's nothing compared to the 6 gallons a week I buy for my small family of 4.
I know many of you have much larger families than I do. How much milk do you buy at a time?

We still make sure there are 4-5 gallons of milk in the fridge after we go to the store on Saturday...and now there's pretty much just the two of us.
Ice cold milk...mmm mmm good.
Ha! We buy a half gallon of milk and I sometimes have to through it away. But, Cody can't drink it. Now Dairy Creamer on the other hand...
Nicole... don't feel bad I make the kids eat school breakfast so that they don't drink the milk for breakfast. So during School we go through 20 gallons a month during the summer....let me get back to you on that one..... I am not sure but Thank Heavens for WIC!! They get us 12 gallons a month!!!
I buy 4 gallons at a time. 1-2% for the baby. 2-1% for the kids and 1-skim for me and Wendell. 4 isn't enough for the week, though. We probably drink 8, but I can only fit 6 at a time in the fridge and I usually have at least one pitcher of juice.
We go through 2 gallons a week. 6 gallons!! you guys must pee white.
