Tyson's Talk

Tyson gave a talk in Primary yesterday.
The topic was "The Family Proclamation teaches me the importance of work."

Unfortunately I had nothing in my files that fit this topic.  So he and I had to create his talk from scratch.
I did the technical stuff, he helped me with the personal parts.
Preston helped by posing for some pictures.
I think it turned out good.

The Family Proclamtion teaches us that successful families are established and maintained through work.  This means that my family can be strengthed when we work together.

Working together at home helps you to be responsible.  It also helps you to be grateful for the work others do for you.  Serving your family members shows that you love them.

Mothers and Fathers work very hard and do many things for their families.  I know my mom loves me because she makes me dinner.  I know my Dad loves me because he goes to work each day.  I can show my love for them by doing my chores.

My favorite chore is washing windows. I feel happy inside when I do my chores because I love my family and our home.

In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Awesome!! Love it!! What a great Primary talk!!

And if I'm not mistaken I think you do have a nice little lesson about the different paragraphs in the Proclamation.... Don't make me go look in my files!!

You are right Nancy, I do have a lesson for each paragraph of the proclamation. BUT that lesson didn't have anything on the topic of work! Believe me, that's the first place I looked!
