Today I am thankful for parents. My mom and dad have taught me many things in my 30 years of life. They have always shown me unconditional love. They have shown, by example, how to have a good strong marriage. You don't stay married for 33 years without learning how to compromise, and when to bite your tongue. My dad taught me how a woman should be treated. My mom taught me how to work hard and be self-reliant. They are both selfless people who will do anything for their children and grandchildren. I am thankful for my parents today because today is my mom's birthday.
